I first met Brooke a year ago at a community workshop I held at University of Detroit Mercy. She was so quiet I had no idea of the many amazing projects she has going on in her life and in this fine city we call home. It wasn’t until very recently I learned she was a really talented artist, curating an amazing gallery on the west side, helping to resurrect a huge city park with art and culture events, and lives in one of Detroit’s super interesting communities up by the State Fair grounds with a bunch of artists that want nothing more than to help each other succeed in this life. And by succeed, I mean, be happy and satisfied.
Brooke has been a huge supporter of the project since day one, and I thank her also for being a backer! Hi Brooke! Last week she let me record her talking about what it was like to live at Theater Bizarre. It’s pretty great.
