“If I had a flower for every time I thought of you…I could walk through my garden forever.” Alfred Tennyson
Dearest Kathy, these were selected for the nieces flower bed by your loving nieces and grand nieces, and daughter!!
I love you mom!
Sarah Padgett Blocker, Casablanca Lily: The casablanca has the most amazing fragrance!
Shel Kimen, Tuber Rose: They are elegant and surprising, like I hope to be!
Jennifer Chester, Daisies: Because nothing is more fun than a daisy!
Shannon Kroll, White Tulips: First signs of spring! And she says what Amy says too!
Sophia Blunk, Hyacinths: Because they smell so good!
Liora Chester, Sunflowers: Because they like the sun!
Brianne Blunk, Hydrangea: They are like a big ball of beauty!
Sarah Becker, Orchids: Because of their prominent appearance in the Nero Wolfe novels.
Katerina Koren Talia, Purple Orchids: Because they last long, smell nice, and still look pretty when they die. :-)
Jamie Padgett, Star Lily: Big, beautiful, and smells fantastic. Super easy to take care of and gets bigger every year.
Amy Kimen, Red & Yellow Tulips: They don't last long but they carry a big stick! They are bright and alarming as they seemingly come out of nowhere.
About Collision Works
Collision Works creates spaces that bring people together and uses personal stories to build empathy. The result is resilient communities. Stories connect us, help us learn, and motivate – a catalyst for personal and community growth.
This community development project consists of a public event space, collaborative work areas, a mentoring program, and a soon to be developed 46-room hotel made of recycled shipping containers. It is founded on a hybrid profit/non-profit mixed-use model and designed for sustainability. It is also designed to be fun. Yes, fun!
